Part of the pile weight rests on the sliding device , the pile no longer rests with its full weight on the ground.
This ensures vertical ventilation of the entire pile cross-section (chimney effect), no unpleasant odors for you and your neighbors, no more tedious turning requiered.
The compost organisms work at turbo speed, as they are optimally supplied with oxygen, heat the compost pile, multiply ideally and thus quickly produce nutrient-rich quality compost.
The pile is surrounded by the walls of the composter, is only ventilated from the side and rests with its full weight on the ground.
As a result, the pile compacts, and hardly lets any air through. This compaction process considerably restricts the air circulation in the heap, which slows down the composting process. The removal of finished compost is extremely laborious due to the heavy weight of the heap, as the entire mass rests on the shovel when shoveling it out.
Therefore, composting guides recommend turning the pile several times a year, which usually involves completely dismantling and rebuilding the composter to ensure better ventilation and loosening of the material.

Very nice wooden composter, the 4 wall elements are pre-assembled, pre-drilled, simply screw together, done. There is no kitchen waste that cannot be disposed of here; it is a "universal composter."
Leftovers from the vegetable garden such as kohlrabi leaves, cauliflower, carrots, radish scraps, beans and peas, GREENS, including those from pumpkins, cucumbers, and zucchini (chopped up with a lawnmower), grass clippings—all of this goes into the composter. And the end product is a lot of wonderful soil enriched with earthworms!

The wood version looks visually beautiful and appealing. The assembly can be completed in a quarter of an hour with a little manual skill and little time. The workmanship and quality are good. The only drawback is that the profile timbers show clear chipping, which negatively affects the appearance but has no effect on the function. I can recommend the recommended wood stain based on many years of experience. I can't say anything about the functionality at the moment. We would be happy to recommend the product.

About sixteen years ago, we opted for what was then a global innovation, the original Supercomp.
Even then, the purchase price was in the upper segment for composters, but the described working principle of the Supercomp had made us curious, and we have never regretted the decision; otherwise, we would not have chosen this composter again now.
The construction of the new Supercomp (wooden version 305 L) has been significantly simplified compared to the original model and is child's play if you have no problem screwing twenty screws into wood.
You can't make a mistake during commissioning if you follow the instructions exactly.
After a few weeks, the composter is in normal working order, you fill in your compostable material from above and wait until the first finished compost collects in the lower area of the composter.
We had never managed to produce such beautiful compost soil with previous composters as with the Supercomp.
Since we always had problems with vermin (including rats) with the previous composters, we decided to only fill garden and kitchen waste and no food leftovers into the Supercomp's.
The Supercomp is maintenance-free, absolutely odorless and, in the wooden versions, an ornament for every garden.

I get along very well with the Supercomp composter. My vegetable waste, together with the compostable garbage bags, decomposes very well in the container over a longer period of time. I regularly add leaves or grass to the waste and mix it in. Complete emptying via the flap provides good compost.
