SUPERCOMP was successfully tested by the Graz University of Technology and the Joanneum Research Center Graz for composting kitchen waste, as well as exclusively grass and orange waste. Here is a brief summary of the test series.

A world first: Successful composting of only oranges

Stress test: Composting of only oranges

The general rule is: the more diverse the organic waste, the easier the composting process; the purer the waste, the more difficult the process. For example, attempts to compost surplus oranges in Sicily, IT, using windrow composting were only successful when 2/3 of other organic waste was added. The pictures show an experimental setup at the Institute for Process Engineering at the Graz University of Technology, where only promille amounts of lime, rock flour, and sewage treatment plant substrate were added to 300 l of pure oranges in the sterile laboratory environment. After 8 months, the difficult task of converting the oranges exclusively into compost was completed –

"This test was primarily successful due to the vertical aeration of the composter. This creates the best conditions for the microorganisms."

Reason: SUPERCOMP VERTICAL AERATION

Lawn composting – SUPERCOMP also processes exclusively grass clippings into compost.

1. Technical difficulties with conventional composters when composting freshly cut grass:

Every garden owner knows: freshly mown lawn piled on a heap rots and smells
after that. Reason: fresh grass is high in nitrogen and usually very dense (fine structure) when mowed, which leads to rotting due to lack of air
in a heap piled up on the ground, further intensified by the excess of nitrogen. Conventional composters are nothing more than compost heaps lying on the ground
with coverings that let even less air into the heap than without a covering. According to the instructions, the
grass would have to be piled up in layers with leaves etc., which in practice
hardly anyone does.

2. Solution: Vertical aeration with SUPERCOMP

Tests with fresh grass cuttings and even more difficult materials such as tomato press cake have shown that these materials can be composted without mixing, adding other substances, and without odor problems.

Reason: SUPERCOMP VERTICAL AERATION

Thousands of satisfied customers!

Our satisfied customers are the best reference. If you are also satisfied with your SUPERCOMP, we would be very happy to hear from you.

The composter works and remains odorless. The composting time is about 1/2 year and requires the use of composting worms. We bought 3 types of worms from one of the large worm farms for soft to firmer raw material. Woody flower stalks and thin branch material have to go through twice. In summary, we are very satisfied.

This is my second composter. Compared to the first one, which was in use for many years, there are some improvements in terms of stability. The way it works is great. I can recommend it

Top product and surprisingly efficient. We can only recommend this product. Important when setting it up: it should be protected from the weather, otherwise the wooden cover will unfortunately break over time. But after the complaint, we immediately received a replacement free of charge. Thank you for this outstanding service.

10.12.2024 K. Kachler

Very nice wooden composter, the 4 wall elements are pre-assembled, pre-drilled, simply screw them together, done. Important: equipped with lid, insect screen, tight, air supply via ventilation grille and looks good. The composter has its price, but it is not just one off the rack from the hardware store.

This is now our 2nd Supercomp and we are completely satisfied again. The first time we had the large 6-sided one and it worked great. No bad odors and great compost. After the 2nd move and with an age of at least 15 years, we have now replaced it with a small one, as our children have now moved out and our garden has become smaller. I like the new model very much. We use the Supercomp with worms and have chosen a wooden version twice so far, as we also find it very appealing in terms of appearance. Full purchase recommendation

S. Schmidt

We are very satisfied with our Supercomp composter. In fact, we hardly need our organic waste garbage can anymore. Kind regards. 15.04.2024

Fast, uncomplicated setup. Wonderful compost after just a few months. Almost odorless, so no problem in a small garden.

Christine

I bought the large wooden composter about 5 years ago and it still works like it did on the first day. At first, I thought the wood would be a problem, that it would rot or weather quickly. With the exterior paint and interior coating, it has now lasted for 5 years. That's why I recently bought a composter from Green-Practice-Systems for my parents as well.

Robert S., Graz - Austria

About sixteen years ago, we opted for what was then a global innovation, the original Supercomp. The purchase price was already in the upper segment for composters at that time, but the described working principle of the Supercomp had made us curious and we have never regretted the decision; otherwise we would not have chosen this composter again now. The construction of the new Supercomp (wooden version 305 L) has been significantly simplified compared to the original model and is child's play if you have no problem screwing twenty screws into wood. You can't make a mistake during commissioning if you follow the instructions exactly. After a few weeks, the composter is in normal working order, you fill in your composting material at the top and wait until the first finished compost collects in the lower area of the composter. We had never managed to produce such beautiful compost soil with previous composters as with the Supercomp. Since we always had problems with vermin (including rats) with previous composters, we decided to only fill garden and kitchen waste and no food scraps into the Supercomp's. The Supercomp is maintenance-free, absolutely odorless and, in the wooden versions, an ornament for every garden.

There is no kitchen waste that cannot be disposed of here; it is a "universal composter".

Franz K., Sankt Barbara Im Mürztal, Austria

We were looking for a composter that works well, doesn't smell and looks good, as it is clearly visible in our yard. After the first 10 months of use and the first removal, we are very satisfied. The workmanship was not optimal on the lid and removal flap, but the customer service department delivered the corresponding parts very friendly, accommodating, promptly and without complications. The composted soil is dark and rich, the removal is very easy, there is nothing to do. Organic material in at the top, composted soil out at the bottom. No odor formation whatsoever, even when the sun shines directly on the Supercomp and you are standing next to it. We hesitated a little before purchasing because the price seemed quite high to us, but we think the Supercomp is absolutely worth the price! If you are looking for a composter with which you have zero work, which you can practically place next to the balcony or garden table and which delivers super composted soil, this is the right one! Oh yes, we only throw in fresh organic waste, no processed waste, nothing cooked and no meat, bone or sausage waste in order not to attract any unwanted guests. We always cook fresh and a lot of organic waste is produced.

The product arrived shortly after ordering. The assembly was quick and easy due to the excellent description and could be done alone without any problems. The composter itself is very well made and has been providing excellent service in my courtyard for several weeks now. Due to the location, it is important to me that there is no odor nuisance. This is absolutely guaranteed. I fully recommend the product and would buy it again at any time.

Martin K., Friedberg, Austria

It was perfectly easy to assemble yesterday and is now happily composting in a corner of our small garden. It is the second Supercomp that we have bought and we are very pleased with it.

Richard, Southsea, United Kingdom

We use it to compost all garden waste, including a lot of grass cuttings, as well as all compostable kitchen waste. A composting process is completed after about 8-9 weeks. No odor nuisance, and excellent fermented soil as the end product when removed. The bins are located in D-37181 Hardegsen, which is in the district of Northeim. The manufacturer's company also provided exemplary service for a later spare parts purchase (storm damage caused by Hurricane Friederike). I can recommend the company's products at any time.

Feodor H., Hardegsen, Deutschland

Admittedly, the acquisition costs compared to a normal composter were considerably higher, but in retrospect we can say that the acquisition was 100% worth it. With the "Supercomp" we have for the first time produced excellent compost effortlessly and in a short time and that without laborious turning and above all without odor nuisance! In our opinion, the "Supercomp" is the only part that deserves the name composter.

R. u. J. K., Rüsselsheim, Germany

With all other composters, it was necessary to constantly turn the pile, and the odor was correspondingly bad; in addition, mold often formed in the composters. Since we have been using the Supercomp, we can manage with one composter that seems comparatively small, where nothing stinks, no turning of the pile necessary, and the compost is metabolized very quickly. Even citrus fruits and even meat scraps (we didn't dare throw them on the compost before) are composted. We were initially concerned about the size; as I said, the composter seemed tiny compared to the previous 3, but the composter more than makes up for this with its rapid processing of the composted material. It is now usually 3/4 full, but we hardly put any grass cuttings in the composter. It is important to have a level and solid surface; I made a U-shaped foundation here in a sand bed (which I had previously dug out about 15cm deep) with some clinker bricks. This ensures that the composter is level and stable. We would buy the composter again at any time; overall verdict: unbeatable!

Michael K., St. Ruprecht, Austria

The unit is in our garden corner and looks great. I won't know if it works for at least a year.

Hans-Dieter E., Leer, Deutschland

We have had your two Supercomp in operation for about 2 months. Composting works excellently. The compost smells fresh and aromatic. However, we have not yet removed any compost. Through the lower openings, the compost already looks quite "finished". We assume that we can replace about 4 previous conventional compost bins with the two Supercomp. Composting is really fun again with the Supercomps.

Heinz H., Herrsching, Germany

The composter was easy to set up and, although it is taller than other composters, it does not look so bulky. With my old conventional thermal composter, the rotting process was very slow. I always saved myself the trouble of turning the compost due to lack of time and convenience. That's probably why it didn't really work. Although I'm not doing anything different now, a lot of finished compost has already been produced. I also think it's great that you can place the composter on a solid concrete slab. This prevents the composter from warping, which was already the case with the old one after just one year. I also can't detect any unpleasant odors outside the composter. I would buy the composter again at any time and can only recommend it.

Cornelia S., Mittelbiberach, Germany

Even if I still see some need for improvement in the workmanship, the performance of the composter is as described. I am more than satisfied with the performance. No odor nuisance whatsoever, it swallows up huge amounts of material. The worms are doing well despite the heat in the composter. To put it simply, it's just fun. Of course, I have to wait to remove the compost, as it has only been a few weeks, but I will move the clippings etc. that were filled in at the bottom upwards in the next few days. There are countless woodlice and other creatures living in the (compost) when I look through the flap that can be opened at the bottom.

Ingrid V., Zürich, Schweiz

The products before that did not satisfy us. The ventilation system simply works better than we had hoped. All promises, to remove compost after 4 weeks, no shoveling necessary and NO more odor nuisance, have come true 100%. However, when setting up the SUPERCOMP, we paid too little attention to a stable and absolutely horizontal surface. So it became necessary, we have the plastic model, to completely empty the SUPERCOMP and create a stable base. Mr. Schmidl, thank you for your prompt advice, we can unconditionally recommend the SUPERCOMP! With kind regards from the Salzkammergut Family A.

Family A., Weyregg am Attersee, Austria

The spare part was delivered to my home free of charge within 2 days. Very friendly and competent service. The composter is beautifully made, easy to assemble and a beautiful sight in the garden.

Renate R., Strasswalchen, Österreich

It doesn't get any better than that! Great! Thank you very much!

Verona D., Leipzig, Germany

For 4 months now we have been “harvesting” good, black compost, hoping that the seeds in it have lost their germination capacity due to the process heat. But we will see that next spring, which is rapidly approaching since 2 days. I am completely satisfied with your product!

Friedrich K., Winterthur, Schweiz

Very fast shipping!. Thank you. AAA+++++

Nico M., Castellana Grotte, BA, Italy
