What distinguishes a SUPERCOMP
A composter (without special techniques) should be dismantled several times a year while moving the pile.

The moving of the pile becomes obsolete.
Just fill the waste in through the top and remove the finished compost from the bottom.
Why does the compost have to be moved during conventional composting?
Here is a quote from the manual of a conventional compost unit:
„Small quantities are taken out through the slide opening. For larger quantities:
The composter has to be taken apart first.
The previously inserted material often exerts pressure onto the side walls.
This can complicate the disassembly.
Put aside Upper layers
The moving begins.
Mature compost has to be removed and separated from not-yet ready biomaterial.
This is the point when foul odors may occur.
Remove the mature compost
The composter has to be rebuilt.
The not-yet ready material has to be shoveled back into the composter in alternate layers with materials such as leaves or wood chips.
Nobody can really remove material from the bottom of a pile that weighs approximately 100kg.
To get to the ready material during conventional composting, the pile must therefore be moved.
Hardly anyone piles the material on in layers according to the manual's instructions.
The new composting with SUPERCOMP
Why I there on moving of the pile with the SUPERCOMP?
After the run-in phase, the downward movement of the pile is braked and simultaneously supported by a patented landing gear at a height of about 25cm off of the floor.
The heap is no longer laying on the ground with its full weight.
The pile is loosened under the device, and is also fully ventilated vertically in its interior (chimney effect).
This way SUPERCOMP allows you to comfortably remove compost from the bottom - without any dismantling or moving around a pile.
The moving is replaced by the gravity, and is therefore no longer necessary.
With the compost regulators, the supporting effect is additionally supported. Afterwards, the regulators no longer need to be moved.

Neither you nor your neighbours will be bothered by unpleasant smells. The SUPERCOMP is ventilated fully vertically.
Why do foul odours occur during conventional composting?
Since in conventional composting (without the supporting device of SUPERCOMP) the pile is laying on the ground with its full weight, the base of the pile is compressed, leaving the innermost part of the pile inadequately ventilated:
Compost creatures are aerobic*, meaning that like humans, they need oxygen/air. However, in traditional composters without technology, the innermost part of the pile gets little to no oxygen.
The result is a lack of air, leading to putrefaction and foul odours.
For ventilation - but also for removing mature compost - the pile needs to be moved at least twice a year.

Investigations have shown that the compost creatures begin to suffer as little as 24 hours after the heap being successfully moved, (again) due to lack of air.
The moving is often left out due to being tiresome and "stinky". The process includes:
• Taking apart the composter
• Separating or removing the ready from the not-yet ready compost
• Rebuilding the composter
• Shoveling the not-yet compost back into the composter in alternate layers with, for example, leaves or wood chips
Why you can also easily place the SUPERCOMP auch near the border to your neighbours' yard?
The compost heap is no longer laying on the ground with its full weight, being supported instead by a sliding and supporting device, about 25 cm above the floor. Thus, the pile is fully ventilated vertically, from the ground up, even at its innermost core.
Unpleasant odors are therefore avoided, and the SUPERCOMP composter does not need to be moved.
You can also set the SUPERCOMP up very close to the house, or even on your patio.

Why do conventional composters without technology usually have less power?
The conventional compost heap lays on the ground with its full weight, automatically compacting itself with its own weight, letting less and less air flow through it.
Composters without technology are nothing less than enveloped compost piles, which often let even less air in than the ones that aren't covered.
The compost creatures suffer from lack of air, which makes them work a lot slower in heaps that are laying on the ground.
Additionally, they are disturbed during the moving, making them "escape" and multiply less than they potentially could.
Fewer and slower workers can not perform at their best capacity under these living conditions.
A conventional composter without technology processes up to 2/3 less bio-waste at the same amount of litres. Due to this low power, one composter is not often enough and a second one needs to be purchased.
Composters which leave their piles laying on the floor also cause other disadvantages, such as:
- Often creating bad smells
- Needing to be moved frequently

Since the pile is not laying on the ground with its full weight, being instead held up by the support device, it is continuously vertically ventilated at its inner core.
This way, the compost creatures can process the waste under the best conditions, as they are always supplied with sufficient oxygen and aren't disturbed by moving the pile around.
This speeds up the composting process by up to 3 times.

How does the SUPERCOMP actually work during operation?
Run-in phase of approximately 6 weeks
Throw in loose material such as old compost, bark mulch or straw, forming a cushion of about 20 cm in height. Add bio-waste from the garden or kitchen.
The organic waste is now composted to the extent that they form a cohesive mass which is supported by the device. The cushion can now be taken out from the bottom (while forming a cave) and are thrown into the composter from the top again.
The SUPERCOMP is now completely operational. The heap is no longer with its full weight on the floor, and is therefore being continuously ventilated vertically – even at its core. The finished compost can be removed gradually from the harvesting chamber. The often recommended turning of the compost heap – as in conventional composting, without technology – is not necessary.
