Key Findings
1
Scientifically studied
Research conducted by Graz University of Technology and studies by Joanneum Research document how the ventilation system works.
High-quality materials are used
In experiments, even single-material waste streams—such as grass clippings or orange peel—have been successfully composted. No relocation required
The support-and-slide device relieves pressure on the compost pile. The material slides downward while air flows upward from below.Recommended based on real-world testing
My gardening expert highlights the clean, low-odor composting process. The F.A.Z. Buying Guide lists SUPERCOMP in the “Innovative” category.Recommendations & References

Recommended as “Innovative”
SUPERCOMP It is specifically mentioned in the independent market overview and ranks among the recommended models in a test group of 25 composters.
My Gardening Expert
A well-designed system for convenient and low-odor composting
In practical testing, vertical aeration clearly stands out from simple rapid composters.
Graz University of Technology & Joanneum Research
Scientific Documentation
Laboratory and field tests examined bacterial activity and oxygen supply. Vertical aeration is intended to prevent decay processes.
Stress test
Composting Oranges and Grass Clippings
The tests show that the SUPERCOMP operates effectively even under demanding conditions: among other things, the tests were conducted using only orange waste and pure grass clippings.
System Comparison
What sets SUPERCOMP apart from other composters?
The overview compares the construction, composting time, labor requirements, odor, performance, and purchase cost of various systems.
The Principle
How does vertical ventilation work?
In traditional, closed composters, the material rests on the bottom under its full weight. A lack of air can slow down decomposition and cause odors.
In the " SUPERCOMP ," the support-and-slide mechanism supports part of the pile. This creates a continuous chimney effect.
Air flows in from the bottom
Fresh oxygen is drawn in through the lower section.
The pile is fully aerated
The air moves vertically through the material and exits at the top.
The material slides along
Mature compost can be removed from the bottom without having to move the entire pile.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ on
SUPERCOMP and the Test Reports
Are there any independent tests?
Yes. SUPERCOMP has been evaluated as part of scientific research and has also been tested by specialized gardening publications, which have recommended it in comparative reviews.
How does " SUPERCOMP " differ from simple fast composters?
The key difference is the vertical aeration system combined with the support-and-slide mechanism. This is intended to eliminate the need for re-layering and ensure a uniform supply of oxygen.
What material is the plastic composter made of?
According to the manufacturer, the plastic composter is made of UV-stabilized, impact-resistant recycled polypropylene (PP). The material is weather- and frost-resistant.
