SUPERCOMP was successfully tested by the Graz University of Technology and the Joanneum Research Center Graz with the composting of kitchen waste and exclusively grass and orange waste. Here is a brief summary of the test series.

For the first time worldwide: Successful composting of oranges only

Endurance test: Composting only oranges

Basically, the more diverse the organic waste, the easier it is to compost, the more pure the waste, the more difficult. For example, attempts to compost surplus oranges in Sicily, IT, using windrow composting were only successful when 2/3 of other organic waste was mixed in. The pictures show a test setup at the Institute for Process Engineering at the Graz University of Technology. Lime, stone meal and sewage treatment plant substrate were added to the 300 liters of pure oranges in the sterile laboratory environment in the per mille range, and after 8 months the certainly difficult task of converting the oranges into compost was completed -

"First and foremost, this test was successful due to the vertical aeration of the composter. This creates the best conditions for the microorganisms."

Reason: SUPERCOMP VERTICAL AERATION

Lawn composting - SUPERCOMP also exclusively processes only grass clippings into compost.

1. technical difficulties with conventional composting equipment when composting freshly mown grass cuttings:

Every garden owner knows: freshly mown grass piled up in a heap rots and smells
afterwards. The reason: fresh grass is high in nitrogen and usually very dense (fine structure) when cut by a lawnmower, which leads to rotting due to a lack of air
in a heap piled on the ground, exacerbated by the excess nitrogen. Conventional composting devices are nothing more than piles of compost
on the ground with wrappings that allow even less air into the pile than without wrapping. According to the instructions, the
grass should be piled up in layers with leaves etc., which hardly anyone does in practice
.

2nd solution: Vertical ventilation with SUPERCOMP

Tests with fresh grass clippings and even more difficult materials such as tomato press cake have shown that these materials can be composted without mixing, addition of other materials and without odor problems.

Reason: SUPERCOMP VERTICAL VENTILATION

Thousands of satisfied customers!

Our satisfied customers are the best reference. If you are also satisfied with your SUPERCOMP we would be very pleased to hear from you.

We are very happy with our Supercomp composter. In fact, we hardly ever need our residual waste garbage can any more. Yours sincerely. 15.04.2024

A. Müllenborn

Quick, uncomplicated assembly. Wonderful compost after a few months. Almost odorless, so no problem in a small garden.

Christine

I bought the large wooden composter about 5 years ago and it works like the first day. At first I thought that the wood would be a problem, that it would rot or weather quickly. With the paint on the outside and the coating on the inside, it has now lasted for 5 years. That's why I recently bought a composter from Green Practice Systems for my parents.

Robert S., Graz - Austria

About sixteen years ago, we opted for what was then a world first, the originalSupercomp. The purchase price was already in the upper segment for composters at that time, but the working principle of the Supercomp described had made us curious and we have never regretted the decision; otherwise we would not have chosen this composter again now. The assembly of the new Supercomp (wooden version 305 L) has been considerably simplified compared to the original model and is child's play if you don't have a problem turning twenty screws in wood. You can't make a mistake when setting it up if you follow the instructions exactly. After a few weeks, the composter is in normal operation, you fill in the compost at the top and wait until the first finished compost collects at the bottom of the composter. With previous composters, we had never managed to produce compost as nice as with the Supercomp. As we always had problems with vermin (including rats) with our previous composters, we decided to use the Supercomp only for garden and kitchen waste and not for food scraps. The Supercomp is maintenance-free, absolutely odorless and the wooden versions are an ornament to any garden.

There is no kitchen waste that cannot be disposed of here, it is a "universal composter"

Franz K., Sankt Barbara Im Mürztal, Austria

We were looking for a composter that works well, doesn't smell and looks good, as it is clearly visible in our yard. After the first 10 months of use and the first removal, we are very satisfied. The workmanship on the lid and removal flap was not optimal, but customer service was very friendly, accommodating, prompt and uncomplicated in delivering new parts. The compost is dark and rich, removal is child's play, there's nothing to do. Bio in at the top, compost out at the bottom. No odors at all, even when the sun is shining directly on the Supercomp and you are standing next to it. We were a little hesitant before we bought it because the price seemed quite high, but we think the Supercomp is absolutely worth the price! If you are looking for a composter with which you have zero work, which you can practically set up next to the balcony or garden table and which delivers great compost, then this is the one for you! By the way, we only throw in fresh organic waste, no processed waste, nothing cooked and no meat, bone or sausage waste to avoid attracting uninvited guests. We always cook fresh and there is a lot of organic waste.

The product arrived shortly after I ordered it. The assembly was easy and quick thanks to the excellent description and could be done on my own without any problems. The composter itself is very well made and has been doing an excellent job in my courtyard for a few weeks now. Due to the location, it is important to me that there is no unpleasant odor. This is absolutely guaranteed. I fully recommend the product and would buy it again at any time.

Martin K., Friedberg, Austria

It was perfectly easy to assemble yesterday and is now happily composting in a corner of our small garden. It is the second Supercomp that we have bought and we are very pleased with it.

Richard, Southsea, United Kingdom

We use it to compost all garden waste, including a lot of grass cuttings and all compostable kitchen waste. The composting process is completed after approx. 8-9 weeks. No unpleasant odors, the end product is excellent fermented soil. The garbage cans are located in D-37181 Hardegsen, in the district of Northeim. Subsequent procurement of replacement parts (storm damage caused by hurricane Friederike) by the manufacturer was also exemplary. I can recommend the company's products at any time.

Feodor H., Hardegsen, Germany

Admittedly, the purchase costs were considerably higher than for a normal composter, but in hindsight we can say that the purchase was 100% worth it. With the "Supercomp", we were able to produce excellent compost effortlessly and in a short space of time for the first time, without the hassle of turning and, above all, without any unpleasant odors! In our opinion, the "Supercomp" is the only thing that deserves to be called a composter.

R. and J. K., Rüsselsheim, Germany

With all composters, the compost had to be turned constantly and the odor was correspondingly unpleasant, and mold also tended to form in the composters. Since we started using the Superkomp, we now have a comparatively small composter where nothing smells, it doesn't need to be turned and the compost is metabolized very quickly. Citrus fruits and even meat scraps (we didn't dare throw them in the compost before) are also composted. We were initially concerned about the size, as I said, the composter seemed almost tiny next to the 3 previous ones, but the composter more than makes up for this with its rapid processing of the compost material. It is now usually 3/4 full, but we hardly ever put grass cuttings into the composter. It is important to have a straight and firm base, I have made a U-shaped foundation here in a sand bed (which I dug out about 15 cm deep beforehand) with some clinker bricks. This keeps the composter straight and stable. We would buy the composter again at any time, overall verdict: unbeatable!

Michael K., St. Ruprecht, Austria

It's in the corner of our garden and looks great. I won't know if it works for at least a year.

Hans-Dieter E., Leer, Germany

We have been using your two Supercomp for about 2 months. The composting works excellently. The compost smells fresh and aromatic. However, we have not yet removed any compost. The compost already looks "finished" through the lower openings. We assume that we can replace about 4 conventional compost beds with the two Supercomp . The Supercomps make composting really fun again.

Heinz H., Herrsching, Germany

The composter was easy to set up and, although it is higher than other composters, it doesn't look as bulky. With my old conventional thermal composter, the rotting process was very slow. I always saved myself the trouble of moving the compost for reasons of time and convenience. That's probably why it didn't really work. Although I don't do anything else now, a lot of finished compost has already been created. I also really like the fact that you can place the composter on a solid concrete slab. This means that the composter doesn't warp, which was the case with the old one after just one year. I also can't detect any unpleasant odors outside the composter. I would buy the composter again at any time and can only recommend it to others.

Cornelia S., Mittelbiberach, Germany

Even though I can still see some need for improvement in the workmanship, the composter's performance is as described. I am more than satisfied with its performance. No unpleasant odors at all, it swallows huge amounts of material. The worms are doing well despite the heat in the composter. Simply put, it's a pleasure to use. Of course, I still have to wait to take out the compost, as it's only been a few weeks, but I'll be moving the clippings etc. from the bottom to the top in the next few days. There are countless woodlice and other creatures living in the (compost) when I look in through the flap at the bottom.

Ingrid V., Zurich, Switzerland

We were not satisfied with the previous products. The ventilation system simply works better than we had hoped. All the promises of being able to remove compost after 4 weeks, no need to shovel it around and NO more unpleasant odors have been 100% fulfilled. However, we didn't pay enough attention to a stable and absolutely horizontal base when setting up the SUPERCOMP . So it became necessary, we have the plastic model, to completely empty the SUPERCOMP and create a stable base. Mr. Schmidl, thank you for your prompt advice, we can recommend the SUPERCOMP unconditionally! Best regards from the Salzkammergut, Family A.

Family A., Weyregg am Attersee, Austria

Replacement part arrived free of charge within 2 days, very friendly and competent, composter is beautifully finished, easy to assemble and a beautiful sight in the garden.

Renate R., Strasswalchen, Austria

You can't beat that! Super! Thank you very much!

Verona D., Leipzig, Germany

We have been "harvesting" good, black compost again and again for 4 months, hoping that the seeds in it have lost their germination capacity due to the process heat. But we'll see next spring, which has been approaching at breakneck speed for the last 2 days. I am thoroughly satisfied with your product!

Friedrich K., Winterthur, Switzerland

Spedizioni velocissime! Grazie. AAA+++++
