Part of the pile weight rests on the sliding device , the pile no longer rests with its full weight on the ground.
This ensures vertical ventilation of the entire pile cross-section (chimney effect), no unpleasant odors for you and your neighbors, no more tedious turning requiered.
The compost organisms work at turbo speed, as they are optimally supplied with oxygen, heat the compost pile, multiply ideally and thus quickly produce nutrient-rich quality compost.
The pile is surrounded by the walls of the composter, is only ventilated from the side and rests with its full weight on the ground.
As a result, the pile compacts, and hardly lets any air through. This compaction process considerably restricts the air circulation in the heap, which slows down the composting process. The removal of finished compost is extremely laborious due to the heavy weight of the heap, as the entire mass rests on the shovel when shoveling it out.
Therefore, composting guides recommend turning the pile several times a year, which usually involves completely dismantling and rebuilding the composter to ensure better ventilation and loosening of the material.

We were looking for a composter that works well, doesn't smell and looks good, as it is clearly visible in our yard. After the first 10 months of use and the first removal, we are very satisfied. The workmanship was not optimal on the lid and removal flap, but the customer service department delivered the corresponding parts very friendly, accommodating, promptly and without complications. The composted soil is dark and rich, the removal is very easy, there is nothing to do. Organic material in at the top, composted soil out at the bottom. No odor formation whatsoever, even when the sun shines directly on the Supercomp and you are standing next to it. We hesitated a little before purchasing because the price seemed quite high to us, but we think the Supercomp is absolutely worth the price! If you are looking for a composter with which you have zero work, which you can practically place next to the balcony or garden table and which delivers super composted soil, this is the right one! Oh yes, we only throw in fresh organic waste, no processed waste, nothing cooked and no meat, bone or sausage waste in order not to attract any unwanted guests. We always cook fresh and a lot of organic waste is produced.

I have had the Supercomp thermal composter for a year now. The composter was easy to set up and, although it is taller than other composters, it does not look so voluminous. With my old conventional thermal composter, the rotting process was very slow. I always spared myself the effort of turning the compost for reasons of time and convenience. That's probably why it didn't really work. Although I'm not doing anything differently now, a lot of finished compost has already been produced. I also think it's great that you can place the composter on a solid concrete slab. This means that the composter does not warp, which was already the case with the old one after just one year. I also cannot detect any unpleasant odors outside the composter.
I would buy the composter again at any time and can only recommend it.

In the first season, the composter proved to be very effective. I assume that this will continue to be the case in the years to come. A small note: The lid hinges could be a little more stable. Not a problem in normal use. However, during a strong gust of wind last winter, the hinges of one side panel did not hold and broke off. Free replacement was provided immediately.

The composter arrived on time after 2 days. It was very well packaged and undamaged. I unpacked it right away and assembled it, which was also very easy. Then I prepared the location and set up the composter, filled it with mulch as described. Then the first waste was thrown in. Now I wonder how a chimney draft can occur when everything is filled, since there are no ventilation holes or slots. Well, the future will show whether everything is really that great, and only then can you decide whether to recommend it.

Until we purchased the Supercomp composter, we had several other models in use, most recently even 3 composters lying next to each other (a 600l plastic composter from a competitor, a compost heap made of mesh material with approx. 1m diameter and one made of wooden boards also approx. 1m square).
With all composters, constant turning was necessary, and the odor was correspondingly high; in addition, mold often formed in the composters.
Since we have been using the Supercomp, we can manage with one, comparatively small-looking composter, where nothing stinks, no turning of the pile necessary, and the compost is metabolized very quickly. Even citrus fruits and even meat scraps (we didn't dare to throw them on the compost before) are composted.
We had initial concerns about the size; as I said, the composter looked tiny next to the previous 3, but the composter more than makes up for this with its rapid processing of the composted material. It is now usually 3/4 full, but we hardly put any grass clippings in the composter.
It is important to have a straight and firm surface; here, I have created a U-shaped foundation in a sand bed (which I previously dug out about 15cm deep) with some clinker bricks. This ensures that the composter stands straight and stable.
We would buy the composter again at any time; overall verdict: unbeatable!

The composter works and remains odorless. The composting time is about 1/2 year and requires the use of composting worms. We bought 3 types of worms from one of the large worm farms for soft to firmer raw material. Woody flower stalks and thin branch material have to go through twice. In summary, we are very satisfied.
